Chai Candied Bacon Recipe

Ingredients:

1lbthick cut bacon
1 1/4 cupsBlack Scottie Chai concentrate

Instructions:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400F
  • 2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with heavy foil. Place a baking rack over the lined sheet tray.
  • 3. Put Black Scottie Chai concentrate into a bowl and dip bacon into it so it is fully covered then line the baking rack with the bacon so that its not overlapping.
  • 4. Bake in 15 minutes then flip and brush another coat of Black Scottie Chai concentrate on the other side.
  • 5. Bake for another 15 minutes flip one more time and this time set the oven to broil for 2 minutes and no longer to ensure it caramelizes and doesn’t burn.
  • 6. Remove from the oven take off the rack so they don’t stick, in the cooling process they should harden. Enjoy!
