Chai Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients for Bread:
2 | eggs |
3 | bananas (ripened, and mashed) |
2 cups | flour |
1teaspoon | baking soda |
1/2teaspoon | cardamom |
1/2 teaspoon | salt |
1/4 cup | sugar |
3/4 cup | Black Scottie Chai concentrate |
1 stick | butter (melted) |
Ingredients for Cream Cheese:
1 | egg |
2 ounces | softened brick style cream cheese |
1/2 cup | Black Scottie Chai concentrate |
3 tablespoons | all-purpose flour |
- Preheat oven to 350F. Coat the inside of the cake/bread pan you intend to use with butter.
- In a large bowl mix together eggs, sugar, Black Scottie Chai concentrate, butter, and bananas mashed.
- In a separate bowl mix together flour, salt, baking soda, cardamom.
- Mix the two bowls together to make your batter.
- In the bowl you just emptied stick add your egg, cream cheese, Black Scottie Chai concentrate, and flour. whisk them together until they are all one consistency.
- Pour about 1/2 of your batter into the pan. Set to the side and now pour the cream cheese filling you made throughout the middle then pour the rest of your batter over the top. You might need two pans cause of overflow.
- Place pans into oven and and bake for about 50 minutes. Use a toothpick to check the center. the cream cheese center may still be a little gooey, but allowing it to sit on the counter for 30 minutes should deal with that.
