Chai Cardamom Snickerdoodles Recipe
Ingredients:
| 1/2 cup | chai butter |
| 1/2 cup | shortening |
| 1 1/3 cup | sugar |
| 2 | eggs |
| 2 teaspoons | vanilla extract |
| 2 3/4 cups | all-purpose flour |
| 2 teaspoons | cream of tartar |
| 1 teaspoon | baking soda |
| 1/4 teaspoon | salt |
| 2 tablespoons | cardamom |
| 2 tablespoons | sugar |
Instructions:
- 1. Preheat oven to 400F.
- 2. Cream together butter, shortening, 1 1/3 cups sugar, eggs, vanilla. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda, salt. Shape dough with spoonfulls into rounded balls.
- 3. Mix cardamom and sugar into something you can roll the dough balls into mixture.
- 4. Place balls 2 inches apart
- 5. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set but not to hard.
- 6. (Optional) Drizzel Black Scottie Chai concentrate lightly over cookies let set a few minutes and enjoy.







Absolutely worth making the chai butter! Our family doesn’t like snickerdoodles but enjoyed this chai spice version and it baked into a lovely cookie. Popular and a definite re-bake!
