Chai Cardamom Snickerdoodles Recipe

Ingredients:

1/2 cup chai butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons cardamom
2 tablespoons sugar

Instructions:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  • 2. Cream together butter, shortening, 1 1/3 cups sugar, eggs, vanilla. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda, salt. Shape dough with spoonfulls into rounded balls.
  • 3. Mix cardamom and sugar into something you can roll the dough balls into mixture.
  • 4. Place balls 2 inches apart
  • 5. Bake 8-10 minutes or until set but not to hard.
  • 6. (Optional) Drizzel Black Scottie Chai concentrate lightly over cookies let set a few minutes and enjoy.
